Alex Beaupre Fundraiser at http://www.gofundme.com/xb33fd5w
In November of last year, Alex (14) awoke one morning for school and suddenly was unable to move her legs. She
was taken to Hasbro Hospital and the doctors were initially unable to make a definitive diagnosis, other than
to confirm that she was essentially paralyzed from the waist down. After multiple tests and an 11 day stay at
Hasbro Hospital, doctors eventually diagnosed her with a condition called "Acute Flaccid Myelitis". She was
transferred to Spaulding Rehab in Boston for five weeks. She is now home and remains in a wheelchair. Doctors
are uncertain about her prognosis at this point. She continues to receive outpatient physical and occupational
therapy 3 days per week. She is working very hard and we are all proud of her. The goal of the fundraiser is to
help purchase specialized equipment for Alex and find ways to enhance her new lifestyle.

MONDAY NIGHTS WITH THE COACH
Head Coach Don Johnson has agreed to continue a North Attleboro Football Tradition. Monday nights at 7:00 PM
at the high school (room 160) Coach Johnson will be reviewing the prior week’s varsity game film with all those
interested. All North Attleboro football fans and supporters are welcome.
THIS IS NOT LIKE WATCHING THE GAME ON CABLE. Coach Johnson breaks down the play, highlights matchups, explains
the strategy, shows opponents adjustments. and reviews results; good and bad.
This is a great opportunity to learn directly from the coach about the game and see what is really happening on
the field. Please join us and gain some insight into thought process, preparation, strategy, execution, and
results that make up a Rocketeer Football Game.
We hope to see you there.
Monday Night Gridiron Club
Red Rocketeers lose a heralded member of the Long Red Line.
The North Attleboro Community along with the Red Rocketeer football program wish to pass along our heartfelt
condolences to the family of Kyle Van De Giesen. The tragic news of his passing has left a void in many lives,
as not only was he a tremendous football player that wore the Big Red uniform proudly but more importantly he
was a tremendous leader that stoically wore our country's uniform. Kyle's younger brother Ryan (above, right)
will carry on the Van De Giesen name as he now prowls the sideline as an Assistant Coach for the Red Rocketeers. Our prayers
and thoughts are with Ryan and his family as they begin the healing process.
Kyle will be missed but never forgotten!
